On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, we started a new project dedicated to discussing the future of Japan alongside foreign people and creating a new “narrative” together. 

In recent years, we have seen an increase in extreme rhetoric surrounding foreign residents in Japan. This project aims to involve those with foreign people or international roots in the conversation, seeking a better future for everyone. Leveraging our organization’s unique perspectives and network, we will support these individuals as they share their views, engage in dialogue, and take concrete action.
